Our Philosophy

The Pousada Morro do Forte overlooks the colonial city of Paraty, located in the heights of the Pontal district, 5 minutes from the Fort and its museum, 250 meters from the Pontal beach and 800 meters from the historic center of Paraty.

An eco-responsible family lodging that opens its doors to visitors from all over the world, offering a true haven of peace rich in local fauna and flora. A magnificent view of the sea and the city of Paraty accompanies every glance out the window and every admiration from the balconies. A small garden with a swimming pool offers a cool moment on sunny afternoons.

The pousada offers a hearty breakfast of varied, fresh and local products, perfect to fill up on energy and to discover Paraty and its surroundings, thanks to its wide range of tours and eco-tourism excursions. For quieter days, activities are offered in partnership with local actors, consisting of yoga classes, massage sessions and outdoor activities, among others.
