Our Philosophy

Situated in a quiet town of Playa Avellanas, Drift Away Eco Lodge offers a perfect setting to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. The lodge is located in close proximity to some of Guanacaste’s most beautiful beaches known for great swimming and excellent surfing.

Health and safety is our number one priority. We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and meet or exceed all recommended guidelines.

The grounds offer a lush green escape, plenty of space, and feature great facilities that guests can safely enjoy during their stay.

The majority of the supplies used in the construction of the lodge are locally sourced. We used natural recycled materials where possible and supplemented them with low VOC products to minimize the effect of harmful gasses on the environment surrounding our lodge.

We look to minimize our impact on the environment by conserving water and electricity while ensuring a comfortable stay for our guests.

To preserve the land and it’s fragile ecosystem, we use only biodegradable and natural cleaning products throughout our property. We provide biodegradable natural toiletries to all of our guests and encourage their usage during them during their stay.

Our property is free of single-use plastic, and we work hard on recycling and composting as much of our waste as possible.
