Domaine de la Bélonie

Our Philosophy

In the heart of the Dordogne valley, the Domaine de la Bélonie is a large ecological gîte (260m²) recently restored with respect for heritage and the environment to offer you a rich and peaceful stay.

At the entrance of a small, very quiet hamlet, not overlooked and surrounded by a landscaped park of 70,000 m², the cottage is decorated with attention and can accommodate a large family or a group of friends, (9 people and a baby).

Ideally located in the Dordogne valley, between Sarlat, Lascaux, Rocamadour, Padirac, and Collonges-la-Rouge, the region offers countless exceptional tourist sites.

It combines the charm of the old (exposed stones and beams, fireplaces, antique furniture, lime plaster, etc.) and modern comfort (air conditioning, free internet and telephone access, high-end appliances, new and comfortable bedding, insulation ,…).

The restoration of this cottage was guided by the preservation of the environment and the health of its occupants.

The ecological issues we are facing must indeed lead us to react to protect the environment of our children. Tourism must also be part of sustainable development and participate in particular in the preservation of the natural and cultural heritage.

This is why we are committed to respecting the principles of ecotourism and sustainable tourism:
-provide a quality service and ensure visitor satisfaction,
-reduce environmental impacts as much as possible,

-promote local jobs,
- cultivate an art of living: ecology is not austere and fully participates in well-being,
